We are proud that we got the chance to win the CFS2 WEC trophy again back to back. The whole team again pitched in to get us to the play-offs and through the playoffs.
In this round of the WEC we came up against some new challenges. There were some new squads with new styles of fighting. All in all it was a fun and most challenging round.
We only had two teams to fly against to get the victory. So we put together two teams that would each get a chance to fly in the playoffs. The first team was IMS_VanWatt, IMS_Lucky, IMS_Dakota & IMS_SpreadEagle standing in for Moller who could not attend the first match.
The second team that would fly in the champion ship game was IMS_SpreadEagle, IMS_Stubborn, IMS_Blizard & IMS_Moller with VanWatt & Lucky standing by as replacements should they be needed.
The 54th whom we played in the championship came in fighting strong. It was the best out of 7 games to win. It looked like the 54th would win the first game but the IMS pulled it together in the final points and won 4 games in a row to take the victory.
All of the games played against the 54th were clean and tuff as can be. Each kill was going to be hard earned, and they kept up the pressure to the very end. Good fighting 54th my hat off to you guys you put up a great fight.
